The Company Museum of Mercedes-Benz is situated in German city Stuttgart. Here you can discover more than 120 years long history of the company and of the development of its production.
The new building of the Museum was finished in May 2006, its architect is the UNStudio – Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos´s. The architectural structure is very unusual and after entering in, you will realise that it isn´t easy to find your way. You never know what you will find and discover.
In few floors, there are two circuits. The first one focuses on the car legends and the second one on the cars, trucks, planes, ships or engines.
You can see there 160 exhibits, like for example: the first three-wheeler of one of the founders – Karl Benz or the first motor coach of Gottlieb Daimler. You can also see the vehicles of 20th century or special expositions of racing cars. In simple terms – there is always what to discover.
The Museum is the second most visited one in Germany. It is opened from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm. The entrance fee is 8EUR for an adult person, 4EUR for a child, children under 15 years aren´t obliged to pay the entrance fee. At the beginning of the exhibition, you will borrow a special headset working via bluetooth, that will provide you all the information possible. You can chose the language of the presentations.
Naturally, there is a shop with gifts and souvenirs or the car showroom for the ones, who desire to buy „something bigger“ as a souvenir.
